Terms and Conditions
🧝 The North Pole Fine Print
Christmas magic works best when every family knows what to expect. Please read these terms before booking or visiting Santa’s Log House.
Last updated: July 16, 2026By booking, paying for, attending or participating in a visit, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
About These Terms
These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings, payments, visitors and visits involving Santa’s Log House.
The person making the booking is responsible for sharing these terms with every member of their group.
Bookings and Confirmation
Visits are available by appointment only and are subject to availability.
A requested date or time is not guaranteed until Santa’s Log House provides confirmation. Guests must provide complete and accurate booking information.
Prices and Payment
The base price displayed during booking includes up to four people. Each additional person costs $10.
Accepted payment methods are cash and e-transfer. Payment must be completed according to the instructions provided when the booking is confirmed.
A booking may be considered unconfirmed until payment or written confirmation has been received.
Visit Length and Arrival
Each visit lasts approximately 15 minutes. Guests should arrive 20 minutes before their scheduled time.
Late arrival does not automatically extend the visit. A late visit may still end at its originally scheduled time so the next family is not delayed.
Rescheduling
A request to reschedule should be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled visit.
Rescheduling is subject to availability and is not guaranteed. Requests made with less than 48 hours’ notice may be treated as a cancellation.
Cancellations, Refunds and No-Shows
Payments are generally non-refundable. Guests who do not attend their scheduled appointment may lose the full payment.
Nothing in these terms removes or limits a refund, cancellation right or other remedy that must be provided under applicable law.
Weather and Closures
Visits may be delayed, rescheduled or cancelled because of severe weather, unsafe travel conditions, illness, emergencies, property conditions or circumstances outside the reasonable control of Santa’s Log House.
When Santa’s Log House cancels a visit, the guest will normally be offered a new appointment or a refund of the amount paid for the cancelled visit.
Photography and Recording
Santa’s Log House does not provide a photographer. Guests are welcome to take their own photographs during their visit.
Photography must not interfere with safety, damage the property, delay another family or violate another person’s privacy. Commercial photography or filming requires prior written permission.
Children and Supervision
Children must remain under the supervision of a parent, guardian or responsible adult throughout the visit.
The supervising adult is responsible for the behaviour, safety and care of every child in their group.
Pets
Friendly pets are welcome. Pets must remain under the owner’s control and should be leashed or safely secured when appropriate.
Owners are responsible for cleanup, supervision and any injury or damage caused by their animals. Santa’s Log House may ask that an animal be removed if its behaviour creates a safety or comfort concern.
Accessibility
Santa’s Log House is not wheelchair accessible at this time. Access currently requires the use of stairs.
Guests should contact Santa’s Log House before booking if they have mobility concerns or require additional information about the property.
Property Rules
- Follow all instructions provided by Santa, the elves and property representatives.
- Remain within visitor areas and do not enter closed, private or restricted spaces.
- Smoking, vaping, cannabis use and open flames are prohibited inside the log house.
- Food and drinks may be restricted inside unless approved in advance or required for medical reasons.
- Dangerous, disruptive, threatening or disrespectful behaviour is not permitted.
Damage and Cleaning
The person making the booking may be responsible for reasonable repair, replacement or additional cleaning costs resulting from damage or excessive mess caused by anyone in their group or by their pets.
Safety and Assumption of Risk
Santa’s Log House is a historic property. Guests may encounter stairs, uneven surfaces, outdoor conditions, weather, natural ground and other ordinary property hazards.
Guests must act carefully and follow all safety instructions. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Right to Refuse or End a Visit
Santa’s Log House may refuse entry or end a visit when a guest creates a safety risk, behaves abusively, ignores instructions, damages property, appears dangerously impaired or seriously disrupts another family’s experience.
A refund may not be provided when a visit is refused or ended because of a guest’s conduct.
Personal Information
Booking information may be collected and used to process appointments, receive payments, communicate changes, respond to questions and operate the visitor experience.
Guests should not submit unnecessary sensitive personal information through the website or booking process.
Changes to These Terms
Santa’s Log House may update these terms from time to time. The version available when a booking is made will normally apply to that booking unless a change is required by law or agreed to by the guest.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada.
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining portions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
